This research facility was established in 1953. They do research on crop yields of cashew varieties, crop production, protection and supply of cashew grafts and horticulture products to farmers.

This is a large facility with scientific research in the fields of food science and technology.

 

  • Birla Research Institute for Applied Science, Birlagram, Nagda – 456331

This is the R&D arm of Grasim Industries Ltd of AV Birla Group at Nagda, Madhya Pradesh. The main research in this facility is related to development of new products and technologies for manufacture of cellulosic fibres, acrylic fibres and other polymers.

Bose Institute is one of India’s premier research institutes. It was established in 1917 for advancement of science and technology. Central Insecticides Laboratory was established in 1971. Its main objective was to provide testing facilities for investigation and analysis of insecticides. It was necessary to analyze the properties, qualities and dangers of various pesticides used in Indian farms so that their levels of toxicity comply with the Insecticides Act of 1968.

It has four Divisions; Bioassay Division, Chemistry Division, Division Medical and Packaging and Processing Division.
